I have learned to never count Gonzaga out, since they seem to reload after losing good players every year. But, they are losing a lot from last year's team: Karnowski, Zach Collins and Williams-Goss. They have some good recruits coming in, but mostly unproven. Unless they bring in some transfers, they won't be gigantic up front like they have been.
I think a national runner up should still be the WCC favorite though.
Wonder why we haven't targeted any grad transfers? You'd think a kid wouldn't mind playing in California their last year.
This pretty much represents one of main things wrong with college basketball. This will be Neal's third team in three consecutive years. Due to the graduate transfer rule he played 2 years at New Mexico then last year at Ole Miss and now jumps to St. Mary's.
